Excellent book - great information

I'm generally reluctant to buy short books like this but I read the author's blog so I felt like it was trusted source. And I feel like I made the right decision. I've been on Amazon Turk for several years now but doing low paying hits that take a lot of time and work to accrue any reasonable daily result. With just some of the information from this book, I boosted my income and halved my time spent doing it. It was well worth the purchase. This little book is packed with usable information and tips, no filler or other nonsense. I would gladly purchase other guides from this author.

Straight forward, solid tips on how to make money at Mechanical Turk

Two words: GOOD INFORMATION. This book gives you the tools you need when you first start out turking. It takes a little time to find your way around in the world of M-Turk. I'm on day ten, as I write this and I am glad I ordered this book today - swallowed it whole:).
My favorite section was the discussion of scripts and how to use them - that alone was worth the price of the book for me. Thanks, Michael.

Of course, the section on the requesters themselves was equally riveting and I now feel better (more secure) in making my HIT (job) selections.
Bottom line, the author, Michael Naab has done a fine job in showing you the way, the rest is up to you and me:).

A must have for serious cactus collectors with one flaw

I moved to Arizona a few years ago and growing cacti and succulents is just about the most natural thing to do here. I got this book and it has been a great resource for me in terms of knowledge about cacti and of course the detailed descriptions of all the species. I especially like the deconvolution of the different latin names which in many other books are quite a jumble and sometimes can be very confusing when looking something up or trying to compare between books. However, I do have to say that this book has one major flaw that stops it from being 5 stars: not all descriptions come with a photograph, so this book is great when you know the name of the cactus you are looking up, but if you know generally what you have but not the specifics, you can easily get stuck as the descriptions are not always enough to make the distinction.

The best psychotherapy model I have encountered

As a psychologist with over 40 years experience, I can say that the IFS model is the best model I have encountered in my career. It allows me to see my clients as whole and capable, and gives me the tools to help them get obstacles out of the way. The IFS model fosters my creativity as a clinician, and the creativity of my clients. It is a delight to see couples and individuals find fresh, robust solutions to their problems. I really enjoy marveling at how I never would have thought of such good solutions myself. It is useful for highly traumatized clients as well as clients struggling with transitory adjustment issues. It is a gentle, powerful, non-agressive approach to the challenges of life. This book, the original introductory book authored by IFS' brilliant founder, Richard Schwartz,is a gem.

Well-written, concise and paradigm-shifting

This short book describes a model of understanding the personality system that I believe is fast becoming the new paradigm for healing what have been dubbed "mental illnesses" or "personality disorders".
With exercises that illustrate the model and examples that will feel familiar to readers, this book has the potential to be life-altering. As a psychotherapist this is the only view of the person that I have come across that values and recognises the inherent worth of every part of our being.
Discovering this model has enriched my personal life and facilitated permanent positive changes in the many clients with whom I have worked over the years.
I cannot recommend this book highly enough - reading it affords the opportunity for embarking on a journey of self-exploration that leads to greater peace, clarity and self-compassion. May we all benefit from the wisdom in these pages.
