This book was super informational and easy to read - gave plenty of grocery lists as well as foods to eat/foods to avoid. Some of the recipes are a little bland but most are really flavorful and easy to cook. Portions are pretty big because i think this is for family meals which i learned after making a few GIANT batches of meatballs. I didn't follow everything to a T for the 4 week plan, but when i did i felt great. Hope to get back on track and try the rest of the recipes in this book.

The recipes are great and just one serving of these recipes keep me full for hours at a time. I used to get very moody when I was hungry and that just doesn't happen anymore. I've learned a lot about how my body reacts to food so I am now making much better choices. Recipes are great.

I am desperately trying to find some dietary advice on this topic and this book started off really good, lots of sound advice but the diet plan and recipes are ridiculous! Steal cut oats and claim juice?! What?! And vegetables and fruit that are seasonal and you can't buy out of season - not in New Zealand anyway. Needs better alternatives to suit more people, not just Americans. Bit dissapointed.
